What’s behind the name?

Marty is a Northern Virginia native who started their journey as a Thespian in 2013 working as a lights operator for his Middle School production of Annie Jr. He preceded to get their first acting role as The Beast in Beauty and the Beast Jr. This ignited Marty’s passion for Theater and he began pursuing acting and backstage work in High School, where he found his new passion for Props. After graduating high school in 2018 with some acting and props experience, Marty studied dual concentrations in Performance and Design in Technical Theater at George Mason University from the Fall of 2018, up through their graduation in the Spring of 2022. Since then, Marty has worked as a freelance prop designer in the Washington DC metro area and has loved working with new people on multiple productions. When not doing Theater work, Marty spends his free time making and editing YouTube videos, live streaming video games on his Twitch channel, playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends, competing in the Yu-Gi-Oh trading card game with his team, and spending time with friends and family.
